High-mount lamp usually is used on the top of the vehicle rear. Using such light can help the drivers easily to find the front vehicle brakes, it greatly reduce the incidence of rear-end collisions.

Gas high-mount lamp that is the light which bulb is made of gas, such as halogen. Halogen high-mount lamp’s price is relatively cheap, it has mature technology, most vehicles now are using this kind light. But it also have some disadvantages, halogen have radiation, hydrargyrum and easily broken. It has some inconvenience in transportation and installation. Halogen light’s life time is usually about 8000 hours.
LED high-mount lamp, it has the advantage of no radiation, no hydrargyrum and have the long life time. Its life time can be reach 50000 hours. So now more and more vehicles choose led brake lamp and led chmsl lamp becoming more and more popular.
